Jason Waters, MBA

Jason is a commercial leader with over 20 years of experience in biopharma, and has spent the last 15 years in commercial oncology focused on product launches and commercialization. Jason joined Nuvalent in February 2024 as Vice President, Commercial. Before joining Nuvalent in this role, Jason served as the Head of Commercial at Mersana Therapeutics, where he led launch preparedness efforts and companion diagnostic strategy for the market entry of a novel antibody-drug conjugate. Prior to this, he was Field Vice President at GSK, where he was responsible for leading the field sales team for ZEJULA®. Before that, Jason served as US Brand Lead at GSK, leading the frontline OC maintenance and PROC launches of ZEJULA®. He also led the brand through the acquisition and integration of TESARO by GSK in 2019. At TESARO, Jason served as the Global Brand Lead for ZEJULA®, coordinating its EU launch. Earlier in his career, Jason was Senior Director, Sales Strategy at Takeda Oncology, where he contributed to the launches of subcutaneous VELCADE® and NINLARO®. He also held various sales, operational, and leadership roles at Sanofi, Aventis, and Abbott Laboratories. Jason earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of New Hampshire and his MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing at Saint Joseph’s University.
