Kirsten Duncan, PharmD

Kirsten is a medical affairs leader with more than 25 years of experience across biopharma, with a focus on oncology strategy and stakeholder engagement. Kirsten joined Nuvalent in 2024 and currently serves as Vice President, Medical Affairs.

Prior to joining Nuvalent, Kirsten spent more than five years at Pfizer, most recently as Director, Thoracic Oncology, where she led global medical affairs strategy across the lung cancer franchise. Prior to Pfizer, Kirsten served as Director, Healthcare and Life Sciences, at Arivale where she implemented a healthcare channel for a personalized wellness program. Before that, she spent over six years at Percolation Communications, where she built a Medical Affairs team and led strategic consulting and communications initiatives supporting product launches and go-to-market strategies. Earlier in her career, Kirsten was Founder and Principal at Duncan Communications, a strategic consulting firm focused on supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and held a role in disease management at OnCare. 

Kirsten earned her PharmD from the University of California, San Francisco.
